Natural Himalayan salt licks

Natural, functional and practical

Himalayan salt licks are a straightforward feed material for horses and other livestock. Each stone consists of naturally crystalline salt from Pakistan and displays characteristic variations in colour resulting from the raw material itself. Its compact form makes it easy to place in a stable, loose-housing area or pasture, allowing animals to lick the stone as needed.

Under normal conditions, the salt stone is weather-resistant and typically lasts longer than loose salt. Its irregular shape and pink tones give it a natural and recognisable appearance. A hole through the stone and the supplied rope make it easy to hang, keeping it clear of the ground.

The salt lick is suitable for horses, cattle, sheep and goats. It should be placed where animals also have access to fresh drinking water. Their overall feeding regime, activity level and individual requirements should also be taken into account.

At Columbus Spices, we import Himalayan salt licks directly from an experienced producer with documented quality and food-safety systems. The stones are supplied in naturally varying sizes and shapes, reflecting the origin and character of the raw material.

A functional product with a clear origin, straightforward handling and broad application in professional livestock management.
